Job Brief

An Operations Engineer, also known as an on-site IT Operations engineer, helps in resolving technical issues within different components of systems, such as software, hardware, and other network-related IT problems.

An operations engineer troubleshoots issues and install new systems, while utilizing different monitoring tools and systems

Operations engineers are highly skilled in identifying and fixing technical problems, including operating system and platform configuration and account setup, and operational systems.

Apart from possessing excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, these engineers should have solid verbal and written communication skills. The engineer should be able to work calmly when under pressure. They should also be good team players. An Operations engineer should take responsibility for all technical issues.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
• Utilize different monitoring and enterprise management tools to identify and classify issues and performance/availability issues
• Carry on Advanced technical tasks.
• Support in implementation activities.
• Identify and recommend enhancement and automation scenarios.
• Ensure proper logging of all issues.
• Follow standard procedures of the organization to resolve issues by escalating them to the relevant team if required

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree .
• Proven work experience in IT operations
• Expertise in supporting large-scale distributed systems

Skills:

• Good English.
• Able to work under stress.
• Customer Oriented.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Able to work on shift Basis.
• Working knowledge of operating systems; hardware servers and storage, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, and virtualization
• Technical Certification is a plus.
• Analytical Skills and attention to details.
• Self-motivation and willingness to learn;
